The KAIPTC hosted five (5) former African Presidents, namely H.E Dr. Jakarta Mrisho Kikwete, Former President of Tanzania, H.E Dr. Moncef Marzouki, Former President of Tunisia, H.E Thomas Yayi Boni, Former President of Benin, H.E Ernest Bai Koroma, Former President of Sierra Leone, and H.E Hailemariam Dessalegn Former Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on 26th May 2023.

The former presidents who were attending the 7th Edition of the African Leadership Forum (ALF) in Accra, planted a tree each to memorialize their visit to the Centre and to symbolize and enhance the strong relations between their respective countries and Ghana.
They were accompanied by H.E Wamkele Mene, Secretary- General of the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat (AfCFTA) and the CEO of the UONGOZI Institute, based in Tanzania.
