Driven by the mandate to foster peace and stability on the continent, KAIPTC has incorporated comprehensive programmes aimed at preparing election stakeholders, political parties and citizens of Ghana and other African countries for upcoming elections in 2024.
These programmes are designed to build the capacity, educate voters and promote good practices and conducts before, during and after election. The programme will utilize a variety of on-site trainings, online trainings, mobile trainings, and seminars to ensure a broad reach to stakeholders.
The Election Observation Training programme held on 5 – 9 February, 2024 and funded by Norway, is the first of several initiatives planned by the Centre in collaboration with partners. These initiatives will unfold in the coming months and cover a range of topics, including long- term election observation, election management, election violence and security, and training for women and youth as election observers. The Centre will offer both paid programmes and programmes funded by donors.
