The Faculty of Academic Affairs of KAIPTC invites qualified applicants for admission into its One-Year Postgraduate Degree programmes for the 2027/2028 Academic Year commencing in January 2027.

- Executive Master of Arts Conflict, Peace and Security
Organization and Duration of Programmes
The programmes are one-year full-time programmes organized as follows:
- Lectures for the Master of Arts programmes are on Fridays 4pm – 8pm; and Saturdays 9am – 3pm. Lectures are every weekend.
- Lectures for the Executive Master of Arts programme are held for three (3) consecutive weekends followed by a weekend break. Lectures are on Fridays 4pm – 8pm; and Saturdays 9am – 3pm.
- The Master of Arts programmes have options for dissertation and non-dissertation.
- The Executive Master of Arts in Conflict, Peace and Security is a non-research programme.
Requirements for Admission
Applicants of the master’s programmes must hold a good bachelor’s degree (second class lower or better). Applicants with Third Class must have at least five (5) years of relevant work experience and may be required to undergo interview.
All programmes are delivered in English. Proficiency in oral and written English is required. All certificates submitted for admission to any of the programmes must be recognized by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
Applicants are to upload the following documents as appropriate.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Academic certificates (original and English translated version where appropriate)
- Academic transcripts (original and English translated version where appropriate)
- Essay 1
Why you want to join the KAIPTC master’s programme (maximum of 1000 words)
- Explain your principal reasons for wishing to join the KAIPTC master’s programme.
- Describe your career aspirations in the next decade.
- Describe the contribution you will make to the programme when admitted.
- State if you will be sponsored and indicate the value you will add to your sponsoring organization.
5. Essay 2
“Describe one accomplishment that occurred in the last five years of which you are most proud and why”. (maximum of 1000 words)
- National ID card (Ghana card for Ghanaians and passport for non-Ghanaians)
- Proof of English proficiency (for applicants who studied in non-English countries and/ universities))
- GTEC evaluation of non-Ghanaian certificate or proof of payment to GTEC for evaluation of non-Ghanaian certificate
- Any other document that may support your application

2. Select “Yes”
3. Select “Retrieve E-Voucher”
4. The details of the E-Voucher are displayed (i.e. Voucher PIN)
