The 2nd Trimester witnessed the launch of a six-month Youth Mentorship Programme by WYPSI- KAIPTC, with support from the Norwegian Embassy in Ghana,
The programme is built on the success of the “Youth Starts With You” mentorship programme introduced in 2024, establishing a sustainable framework for peer-driven learning and leadership development. It reinforces KAIPTC’s commitment to fostering leadership, professional growth, and intergenerational learning among young African professionals.
The Deputy Commandant of KAIPTC, Brigadier-General Zibrim Ayorrogo at the launch, underscored the transformative power of mentorship.
“Mentorship bridges theory and practice, ambition and achievement, uncertainty and confidence,” he stated, adding that it fostered resilience, innovation, and prepared youth to lead in peace and security across the continent.
He emphasized that the programme reflected KAIPTC’s values of collaboration, excellence, respect, and service, while nurturing the next generation of peacebuilders to make significant contributions in their communities and beyond.
