The KAIPTC and the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create opportunities for cooperation and partnership, exploring areas of mutual benefit for both institutions. The All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) is a fellowship of more than 210 churches and 25 National Christian Councils and Associations in 43 African countries.
The MoU aims to facilitate collaboration in supporting the operationalisation of the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA), the African Governance Architecture (AGA), and other regional AU structures and mechanisms for peace and security.
The Commandant, Major General Richard Addo Gyane, signed the MoU on behalf of the Centre while the General Secretary of AACC, Rev Dr. Fidon Rwezahula Mwombeki, signed on behalf of the AACC.
