Admissions open for Masters Programmes (2026/2027 Academic Year)

The Faculty of Academic Affairs of KAIPTC invites qualified applicants for admission into its One-Year Postgraduate Degree programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.

Available Programmes

  1. Master of Arts in Conflict, Peace and Security (WMCPS)
  2. Master of Arts in Gender, Peace and Security (WMGPS)
  3. Executive Master of Arts in Conflict, Peace and Security (EMCPS)

Organization and Duration of Programmes

  • Lectures for the WMCPS and WMGPS programmes are on Fridays 4pm – 8pm; and Saturdays 9am – 3pm. Lectures are every weekend.
  • Lectures for the Executive Masters are organized for two (2) consecutive weekends followed by a weekend break. Lectures are on Fridays 4pm – 8pm; and Saturdays 9am – 3pm.
  • The Executive Master of Arts in Conflict, Peace and Security (EMCPS) is a non-thesis programme.

Requirements for Admission

Master of Arts (MA) Degree Programmes:

Applicants for the MA degree programmes must hold a good bachelor’s degree, second class lower or better. Applicants with Third Class must have at least five (5) years relevant work experience and may be required to undergo an interview.

Executive Master of Arts (EMCPS) Degree Programme:

Applicants for the Executive Master of Arts degree programme must have a bachelor’s degree. Applicants without a bachelor’s degree but who possess a secondary school certificate with a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience may be considered.

All programmes are delivered in English. Proficiency in oral and written English is required.

All certificates submitted for admission to any of the programmes must be recognized by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).

Ghanaian applicants GHC 300.00

International applicants GHC 1,100.00

Purchase an E-voucher

  1. Through Online Portal (VISA/MASTERCARD and Mobile Money-Ghana)

1. Dial *887*9# on all networks (Ghana)

2. Enter KAIPTC

3. Authorise Payment

4. User receives e-voucher via SMS after successful payment.

In a situation where the user does not receive an SMS after a period of successfully completing the transaction, they can retrieve the e-voucher using the following steps:

1. Dial *887*9# on all networks

2. Select “Yes”

3. Select “Retrieve E-Voucher”

4. The details of the E-Voucher are displayed (i.e. Voucher PIN)
