Cooperation between KAIPTC and ECOWAS advanced significantly last trimester with a review of the 2016 MoU between ECOWAS and the Training Centres of Excellence (TCEs) at a workshop in Abuja, Nigeria. The existing MoU has expired thus the need to review and clarify the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders to reflect the new and emerging realities of the cooperation agreement. The meeting further sought to streamline the development, content, and delivery of courses and establish a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system for the stakeholder institutions. A new MOU is in the offing.
