KAIPTC has resumed operations from 20th April 2020

The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) officially resumed from its Easter break on Monday, 20th April 2020. The official resumption also coincided with the decision of HE President Nana Akufo Addo to lift the restrictions on movements in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area and Kasoa, and the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area and its contiguous districts, with effect from Monday, 20th April.

In keeping with the President’s advisement for businesses and workplaces to observe staff management and workplace protocols that upholds all precautionary and hygienic measures, and in enforcement of similar advisory from continental and global health bodies, some members of staff will work virtually, whiles others will operate on-site. The idea is to avoid overcrowding and facilitate observation of the appropriate social distancing and other protocols.
As implemented prior to the Easter break, the Centre will sustain the protocols instituted to prevent the outbreak and spread of COVID-19 at the Centre which includes daily temperature checks for all entrants, including staff, augmented by electronic dispensers of hand sanitizers at key points at the Centre amongst others.

KAIPTC will continue to closely monitor the situation of the COVID-19 in the country and be guided by directives from the Government of Ghana and the Ghana Ministry of Health. We will also take the necessary precautionary measures as appropriate as an organization. To all our employees, partners, training participants, academic students, our vendors and the general public, we seek your full co-operation and support as we implement operational shifts, and as we engage with you, virtually and/or on-site at KAIPTC.

Please be reminded to observe all the precautionary measures against COVID-19 and do stay safe.
Thank you.
