The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) in 2012 launched the Ghana National Action Plan (GHANAP I), a three-year National Acton Plan to enable Ghana play its role in addressing peace and security issues, with regards to women and girls, through the implementation of the UNSCR 1325.

The Women, Peace and Security Institute (WPSI) of KAIPTC, in collaboration with the MoGCSP, will organize a one-day workshop to review and sensitize security agents with focus on female officers on the GHANAP I, and also seek their views as the country begins to plan for the next Action Plan.

The workshop is slated for August 2017.
