| Biography |
| Colonel Ibrahim Manu Yusuf began his military career in the Nigerian Army in 1985. He belongs to the Nigerian Army Armored Corps. He has held a number of command, staff and instructional appointments. Some of these appointments include command at platoon and company levels in reconnaissance and tank battalions, Aide de Camp and later Military Assistant to the ECOMOG Force Commander, Military Assistant to the Military Secretary Nigerian Army and also, Military Assistant to the Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy. He was an instructor in the Nigerian Defence Academy and the Nigerian Army Armoured Corps Centre and School. He served as a Directing Staff at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College before taking on the current appointment as a Course Director in this Centre.
He is a graduate of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Nigeria and the Joint Services Command and Staff College United Kingdom. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Master of Arts Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the Ahmadu Bello University Nigeria as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Defence Studies from Kings College London. Lt Col Yusuf as well, holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management from the Chartered Management Institute United Kingdom and is a member of the Institute.
