e-learning Portal

The KAIPTC is currently working to set-up an e-learning portal as part of training requirements for the establishment of an African Standby Force (ASF).

The e-learning portal is needed because current training in Integrated Peace Support Operations (IPSO) is challenged by limited training facilities and traveling difficulties within Africa.
The internet-based solution will facilitate online learning activities across a variety of platforms and provide additional functionalities such as locating and accessing courses anywhere in the world, tracking progress of learners and reporting learner performance all for a fraction of the cost of traditional training courses which require participants to be located at the training facility.
The KAIPTC’s e-portal facility will be ready by the end of 2011.
