•  To ensure standardization and commonality of procedures and interoperability of multinational forces, UN demands pre-operational training for all units proceeding on PSOs.
• Pre-deployment training of Ghanaian Battalions is conducted in collaboration with the African Contingency Operations Training Assistance (ACOTA) Programme of the US.
• A 4-week training package is carried out for all units at the BTC.
