OPPORTUNITY FOR TRAINING AND LEADERSHIP IN AUSTRALIA
The Australian Government, through AusAid, has established the ‘Fellowship Leadership Program’, for training and leadership opportunities in Australia.
Name of organisation in association with its Australian counterpart ‘the Africa Australia Association’, has applied for funding for mid and upper level Managers and senior staff from anywhere in Africa to benefit from this opportunity.
The Program is a four week (all expenses paid) training and education exposure to the business, community and government environment in Australia, with particular emphasis on the following areas:
1. Governance. This targets senior government officials from government ministries such as health, women, children, external affairs, defence.
2. Education. This targets senior officials from the government educational ministries, senior management from African universities and other educational institutions.
3. Human Rights. This area targets senior government and non government bodies dealing with peace and conflict, human rights, women and children rights.
4. Economic Growth. This part includes targeting senior government officials in Ministries such as mining, trade, business, resource, economic management.
If you fit into the above category, and would be able to commit to 4-5 weeks away from work in early/mid 2013, then this could be for you.
